1. Manner really do matter - The little things such as ‘thank you’, ‘have a nice day’ and ‘is there anything else I can do for you’ really do matter. Make a point to use the caller’s name throughout the call. Although minor, these small details will make a huge difference.
2. Untrained Staff - A new or poorly-trained employee is unable to complete the customer’s transaction or answer questions about the customer’s business.
3. Not listening to the customer - A customer service rep doesn't listen closely to the customer’s problem, and now the customer has a “solution” that doesn't meet his need.
